Mastering Excel Helps Students Excel

We are off to a good start! Students taking Personal Computers II will have an edge above their peers as they learn to use Microsoft Office Applications to increase productivity, improve efficiency, and analyze data. Employers tell us again and again that they want their employees to have a stronger foundational knowledge of Microsoft Excel. The following video produced by the Nebraska Department of Education states what today's employers are looking for:

  1. Great exercise!

I use Excel all the time as a Project Manager. I keep track of project information such as tasks, issues, and hours grouped by seperate tabs on each sheet. It's an easy way to compare resource allocation across an entire portfolio of projects.
